Crystal Gosnell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Crystal Gosnell, a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. Crystal was born on December 27, 1969, in Gastonia, NC, and she peacefully passed away on October 14, 2024, at her home in Belmont, NC.

Crystal was a hardworking woman who dedicated her life to helping others in the mental health industry as a Medical Office Assistant at Phoenix Counseling Center for the past 12 years. She touched the lives of many with her compassionate and caring nature.

Please keep Crystal and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time as we come together to honor and remember her with love and fondness. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Crystal was a loving grandmother to five kids, Rachel McDaniel, Adrian McDaniel, Emily Webb, Liam Webb, and Lilly Webb; her mom Patricia Bracket; step father, Charles Bracket; siblings, Catherine Moore, Mary Queen, and Billy Downam.

Preceded in death her spouse of 24 years, John Bell; and father, Harry Downam.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Sunset Forest Baptist Church - 903 Hickory Grove Rd., Gastonia NC 28056.
