Crawford "Popcorn" Ray Jordan

Crawford Ray "Popcorn" Jordan, 78, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at his residence.

A lifelong resident of Gaston County, he was born June 10, 1944, to the late David and Ruby Rhodes.

Crawford was a member of Fraley Memorial Baptist Church. He retired from Piedmont Processing in Belmont. Crawford loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and working on old cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jossie McGee Jordan; son, Crawford Jordan Jr.; daughter, Kathy Brooks; brothers, Richard and Robert Rhodes.

Crawford is survived by his son, Robbie Jordan and wife Becky; daughter, Rebecca Jordan; brother, David Rhodes; sisters, Tammy and Jeanette Rhodes; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Charles Keller, will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Fraley Memorial Baptist Church, 3025 Fraley Ch. Road, Gastonia, NC.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
