Corey Kenneth Black

Corey Kenneth Black, 60, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born June 28, 1962, in Riverside, CA. to the late Grady and Bonnie Black.

Corey loved his grandchildren and enjoyed going to all their activities. He enjoyed photography, reading, drawing and woodworking. He was a family man and loved his cat Nugget.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Leslie Pollson.

Corey is survived by his daughters; Heather Rice (Josh) and Jessica Black, seven grandchildren; Arionna Black Helms, Jenna Rice, Makayla Rice, Taylor Hutchens, Kaylee Foster, Carson Hutchens, Serenity Velazquez; several brothers and sisters.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
