Conley Reeves

Conley Reeves, 77, of Gastonia, passed away on May 6, 2016, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas.

He was born December 27, 1938, in Richmond County, son of the late Rev. E.C. Reeves and Kathryn Rich Reeves.

Mr. Reeves was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church in Gastonia.

He loved and cared deeply for his family and always enjoyed helping others with anything they needed.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m.  Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Chapel Grove Baptist Church, 716 Camp Rotary Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Roger Overton.

The family will receive friends 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.

Mr. Reeves is survived by his loving wife of over 53 years, Jerrie Phillips Reeves; son, Randy Reeves; daughter, Kim Reeves Cole and husband, Ken; brother, W.L. Reeves; grandchildren, Daron and Trent Reeves, Lindsey and Austin Cole.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Carolyn Reeves Parker and Elizabeth "Snookie" Reeves.
