Cole Lawing, 25, of Gastonia, passed away on July 26, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
He was born February 8, 1995 in Gaston County, NC,
Don was a 2014 graduate of Forestview High School in Gastonia.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Lawing and grandfather, David Phillips.
He is survived by his mother and father, Misty and Allen Phillips; siblings, Josh Phillips, Tanner Phillips, and Madi Phillips; grandfather, Don Lawing, Sr.; grandmothers, Debbie Washburn and Barbara Phillips; fur baby, Lexi Marie Phillips; and Don Lawing, Jr.
AT THE FAMILY'S REQUEST, FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Chris Norris, will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 5:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 4:00 pm, at the funeral home.
The family appreciates flowers sent, or you can make a memorial to the Muscular Dystrophy Association – MDA, 207 Regency Executive Park Drive, Suite 170, Charlotte, NC 28217.
