Clyde Fore Sr.

Clyde Fore, Sr., 82, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on August 10, 1941, to the late Bill Fore and Gladys Fore Flowers.

Clyde was an avid golfer.  He loved to fish at the beach, and he loved the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed singing and playing various musical instruments. He loved Hardee's gravy biscuit, "dark biscuit with extra gravy, please".

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Tony Fore; brothers, Willis Fore Jr., Lamar Fore; sister, Barbara McGrath.

Clyde is survived by his son, Clyde Fore Jr. and wife Karen; sisters, Carolyn Watson, Geraldine Frazier; grandchildren, Nathan Fore, and wife Victoria; great-grandchildren, Emma Fore and Stella Fore; best friend, Lila Perkins.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
