Clyde Avery Foy Jr.

Clyde Avery Foy Jr., 67, of Gastonia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 3, 2015 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House. He was son of the late Clyde Avery Foy Sr. and Louise Loftin Foy. The family would like to thank Dr. Ronald Digby, Dr. Lance Diehl, Dr. Michael Case and the staff of the Robin Johnson Hospice House for their excellent medical care and Rev. Rick Lewis for his pastoral care. Clyde was a member of Pisgah ARP Church, Gastonia. He deeply loved his family and was completely devoted to them. He retired from PSNC Gas Company after 36 years of service. A celebration of Clyde's life will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Pisgah ARP Church, 3600 Linwood Road Gastonia, officiated by the Revs. Richard C. Lewis Jr and JoLynn Prochaska. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service. Inurnment will be private. Clyde is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Alice Moss Foy; his wonderful son, Robert Avery Foy and wife Angela; his sweet precious daughter, Tracy Foy Faile and husband Todd; two precious granddaughters , Elizabeth Marie Foy and Rebecca Leanne Foy, all of Gastonia; special sister-in-law, Shirley Jackson of Covington, GA; three step grandchildren; two step- great- grandchildren.
