Clyde Osborne Dellinger

Clyde Osborne Dellinger, 72, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his residence.

He was born August 10, 1948, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late James William Dellinger, Sr. and Katherine Burke Dellinger.

Clyde was a member of Faith Gospel Baptist Church, Lincolnton, NC. He attended Denver Wesleyan Church, Denver, NC. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and dirt track racing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James William Dellinger, Jr.; and all his grandparents.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Michelle Garrett Dellinger; sons, David James Dellinger and wife, Jessica and Kenneth Robert Dellinger and wife, Deanna; daughters, Tina Louise Dellinger and fiancé, William Shuster and Gina D.M. Dellinger and husband, Bo McAteer; brothers, John Lee Dellinger and wife, Betty Sue and Jerry Wayne Dellinger and wife, Kathy; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Mark Franks and Terrell Garrett.

A funeral service officiated by Reverends Johnny Houser and Harold Hooper, will be held 2pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends 6-8pm on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
