Clyde Henry Buchanan, Jr., 56, Pembroke, NC, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Southeast Medical Center, Lumberton, NC. He was predeceased by his wife, Darlene Dial Buchanan, and is survived by his father, Clyde H. Buchanan, Sr. (Pearl), Lake Wylie, SC, and mother, Martha Mitchem, Cherryville, NC; brother, Michael Duane Buchanan (Linda), High Shoals, NC; maternal half-brother, Kevin Shane Baker (Jacquie), Riverview, FL; maternal half-sister, Tiffany Baker Cain, Cherryville, NC; paternal step-sisters, Valerie Good (Eddie) and Kim Sipe; and paternal half-sisters, Sheila Gann, and Janelle Hyde (Jack) all of Lake Wylie; a stepdaughter, Shanna Dial of Orrum, NC, and many nieces and nephews. He was self-employed as an electrical subcontractor. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Pastor David Belle Isle. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will follow, at Gaston Memorial Park Cemetery, Gastonia, NC.
