Clifford Eugene Cloniger Sr.

Clifford Eugene Cloniger Sr., 89, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at his home. He was born Oct. 17, 1926, in Gaston County, son of the late George Henry loniger and Era Badger Cloniger. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 56 years, Barbara Cloniger; children, Clifford Cloniger Jr., Terry Lynn Church and husband Ted, and Jackie Robin Dettmar; six grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, at The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Road, Gastonia.
