Claudia Elizabeth Medlin, 66, of Kings Mountain, passed away on December 18, 2018, at her home.
She was born May 27, 1952, in Buncombe County, daughter of the late Claude Searcy and Mary Gasperson.
A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Friday, December 21, 2018, at Revival Tabernacle 212 South Hwy. 27, Stanley, officiated by Pastor John Mayberry.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Thursday, December 20,2018, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
Mrs. Medlin is survived by her daughters, Tammy Hall and husband, Sean, Mary Lynch and husband, Jerry, Rebecca McCumbee, Claudia Grace Mills and husband, Dewayne; stepdaughter, Chrissie Langley; brother, David Searcy; sisters, Louise Blanton, Kathy Dixon; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special friend, James Mc Cumbee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father, Claude Searcy husband, James Medlin; father of her children Robert Lunsford.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
