Claude "Cw" William Henson, Jr.

Claude "CW" William Henson Jr., 65, of Kings Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2018.

"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13

He was born March 3, 1953, in Hamlet, NC, son of the late Rev. Claude Henson Sr. and Cleo Foster Henson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by stepfather, Clarence Davison; sisters, Mable Adams, Cornelia Hayes; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Azzlee Foster; paternal grandparents, Huey and Mary Henson.

"CW" is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Gail Bradshaw Henson; 3 bonus children, Gail brought to their marriage that "CW" loved, Shannon Rice and husband Wayne Patterson, Robert Joseph Rice, Justin Lee Hagan; sisters, Frances Stogner, Carolyn Goodnight, Claudia Bryant and husband Charlie, Susan Blaine; brother-in-law, LC Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews; good friend of many years, Mary Jane Neikirk; fur baby, Benjamin.

A celebration of "CW's" life will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Waypoint Wesleyan Church 217 S. College St. Dallas, NC, officiated by the Rev. Tim Smith

The family will receive friends after the service at the church on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Waypoint Wesleyan Church in memory of Rev. Claude Henson.
