Clarence Raymond Pasour

Clarence Raymond Pasour, 89, of Dallas, NC, passed away surrounded by his family, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at his residence.

He was born December 23, 1932, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Thomas Pasour and Violet Harrill Pasour.

Clarence was a member of Mt Beulah Baptist Church, since 1955. He was a former deacon, usher, greeter, Sunday school teacher, and he also served on many committees. Clarence was a Korean War Veteran and retired from West Vaco Manufacturing. He enjoyed spending time on his strawberry farm he had for several years and working on his tractors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several of his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his childhood sweetheart of over 67 years, Betty Stroupe Pasour; sons, Wayne Pasour (Sharon), and Ray Pasour (Nancy); daughter, Susan Johnson (Scott); grandchildren, Jeff Johnson (Jennifer), Justin Johnson (Amber), and Ashley Johnson (Brad Roberts); and great-grandchildren, Canon, Trevor, Dylan, and Owen Johnson.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Jerry Lail, will be held 2pm, Monday, December 12, 2022, at Mt Beulah Baptist Church - 5306 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Bessemer City, NC 28016.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery, with military honors by Gaston County Honor Guard.
