Clara Elizabeth Moore

Clara Elizabeth Moore, born on April 3, 1940, in North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at the age of 85. A beloved homemaker, Clara dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home.

Clara is survived by her son, Jason Moore; daughter in law, Micky Moore; grandchildren, Justin Moore, Jessica Moore, Emily Moore, and Ashley Moore; great-granddaughter, Destiny Moore; great-grandsons, Tyler Moore, Mason Murray; and many other loved ones.

Clara loved going dancing at the clubs when she was able. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family.

Family and friends are invited to join us for Clara's visitation at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel on October 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM, where we will gather to celebrate her life and share cherished memories. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 2:00 PM, providing an opportunity for everyone to pay their respects and honor Clara's remarkable journey.

After the service, Clara will be laid to rest in a peaceful spot at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 S New Hope Rd., Gastonia, NC 28054, where her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. We invite all who knew and loved her to come and share in this time of remembrance.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Grace Crenshaw; beloved husband, Jerry Moore Sr.; son, Jerry Moore Jr.; grandson, Mark Moore; brothers and sister.
