Cindy Reeves Carswell, 62, of Mount Holly, peacefully passed away at her residence on Friday, July 18, 2025. Born on March 2, 1963, in Cook County, Illinois, Cindy was the cherished daughter of Charlie Reeves and the late Kay Reeves.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Kay Reeves and her beloved daughter, Misty Melton.

Cindy's life was richly colored by her deep faith and unwavering devotion to family and friends. A dedicated member of Catawba Heights Baptist Church in Belmont, she found purpose in serving others and was a source of comfort and encouragement within her church community.

Cindy's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved unconditionally. She leaves behind her father, Charlie Reeves; her devoted husband of over 40 years, Joey Carswell; her children, Jody Carswell (Hannah) and Monika Carswell; her treasured grandchildren, Ashlyn Corneau (Thomas), Carmen Melton, Nathan Carswell, Jaxon Carswell, and Peyton Carswell; and her adored great-grandchildren, Layton Corneau and Deakon Corneau. She will also be deeply missed by her beloved fur babies, Lucy and Bella.

A lover of life's simple pleasures, Cindy enjoyed shopping excursions, peaceful walks along the beach, and quiet moments at home surrounded by family and her fur babies. Her kind heart, generous spirit, and gentle wisdom touched all who knew her, offering comfort and support in times of need.

Her legacy is one of compassion, faith, and enduring love. Cindy's presence brought warmth and light to every gathering, and she will be fondly remembered for her selflessness and strength. As her loved ones mourn her passing, they also celebrate a life beautifully lived—a life that continues to inspire those she leaves behind.

Private services will be held in honor of Cindy's memory.

May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may her legacy of love and kindness remain a guiding light for all who knew her.
