Christopher "Shane" Wise, 47, of Belmont, North Carolina passed away Monday February 19th, 2024, at Gaston Memorial Hospital where he was visited and surrounded by family and loved ones before his passing.
Shane was born October 8th, 1976, to Ronald Tadlock and Tina Wise (Davis) of Belmont.
He grew up and attended school in Belmont and then went on to pursue a life-long career in the construction industry. He was a skilled craftsman and a master of many trades. He held many positions and did all types of skilled labor throughout his years. He prided himself on being a hard worker and always getting the job done to a high standard.
When he wasn't working to build things for others, he regularly passed the time with his own projects at home. He was a tinkerer through and through and had a passion for figuring out how things worked and how to make them better. He loved anything with an engine and wheels and could spend hours out in the yard or in the garage working on his cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
He will be fondly remembered for his jovial spirit, his persistent attitude, his unmatched work ethic, and for all the love and smiles that he shared with us over the years.
Shane will be dearly missed by his five children, Jake, Seth, David "Austin", Noah, and Gracie Wise; his stepchildren, Daniel and Brandon Schesny; his siblings, Natasha Davis, Stephanie Fulmer, and Ronald Tadlock Jr.; his father, Ronald Tadlock; his aunts and uncles, Renee Wise, and Mark and Lori Hunter; his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as countless other loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in his passing by his mother, Tina Star Davis; and his grandmothers, Jeanie Hunter and Malvena Davidson Tadlock.
All are invited to attend the memorial service held at 1:00pm, Friday March 1st, 2024, at The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
