It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Lawton Wall, who left us on August 21, 2026, at the age of 64. Chris was born on February 21, 1962, in Gastonia, Chris grew up in the Firestone neighborhood. He recently retired from Champion Thread of Gastonia.
Christopher was preceded in death by his: father Paul Wall, mother Doris Wall Burgess, brother Michael Wall.
Chris did not like funerals or cemeteries, at his request there will be no funeral service. Chris was a simple man who found joy in the little things. Known for his warm smile and easygoing nature, he loved going fishing and cooking for his family and friends.
He also enjoyed the tranquility of sitting outside, letting his favorite music carry him away while loving the beauty of nature. Chris appreciated the simple pleasures such as moments shared on a porch or under the open skies with loved ones, where stories and memories were made.
Chris is survived by his beloved son Joseph Wall who was his caregiver, son Michael Wall, stepdaughter Kim Shuler, grandson Calix, brothers, Larry Wall (Deborah), Gary Wall, various nieces and nephews, companion Elena Ruiz, best friend Nick Berryhill, along with many friends and family, who will carry his spirit forward in their hearts.
