Christopher "Chris" Plumley, 28, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away August 27, 2015 at Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born October 9, 1986 in Gaston County. Chris was a talented musician who could play the guitar and drums. He had a great love for music and was seldom seen without a guitar in his hands. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James and Inez Webb. Mr. Plumley is survived by his mother and husband, Lisa and Bill Keever of Lincolnton; grandmama, Doris Dennis and husband Keith of Little River, SC; children, Damien, Sylus, and Remy Plumley, all of North Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Travis Plumley and wife Lauren; grandparents, Jan and Bob Plumley of Charlotte; aunts and uncles, Jackie Ellis and husband Dale of Gastonia, Angel Everidge of Savannah, GA, Troy Waldrop and wife Elena of Summerville, SC, Elizabeth Plumley of Charlotte, and David Plumley of Charlotte; numerous cousins; and a multitude of loving friends. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Floyd Dean, will be held 11 AM Tuesday, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.
