Christopher Tyler Patterson

Christopher Tyler Patterson, 35, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on February 21, 1989, to Chris and Ginger Patterson.

Tyler loved his family and friends. He was a graduate from East Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree. He enjoyed studying world history and keeping up with current events.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Jolly Fortson; great-grandparents, Vernon, and Winola Jolly; fur baby, Hailey.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Chris, and Ginger Patterson; brother, Spencer Patterson (Lillie); nephew, Jameson; nieces, Anderson and Maeson; grandparents, Robert and Dot Gneda; special aunt, Tracy Rippy (Mark); numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; fur babies, Holly and Molly.

A funeral service officiated by Pastors Eddie Ramsey and Scott Rudisill, will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 2:00 PM at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, NC, 28052.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
