Christopher "Jason" Painter

Christopher "Jason" Painter, 50, of Grover, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born January 9, 1971, in Gaston Co, NC.

Jason enjoyed shooting pool. He was a loving husband, son, father and pawpaw.

He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Kelsey Simmons.

Jason is survived by his loving wife, Pheibe Painter; son, Stephan Painter (Rissa); daughter, Novaleigh Painter; stepson, Keith Simmons (Sierra); stepdaughter, Ally Simmons; father, Charles Lee Painter (Anita); mother, Catherine Ann Grigg Rednour; sister, Jennifer Painter; stepbrother, Christopher Painter; and grandchildren, Ryleigh Painter, Timothy Huss, Rylan Simmons, Kaden Simmons and Arabella Johnson.

A celebration of life, officiated by Pastors Tim Postell and Thomas Hovis will be held 3 pm on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
