Christopher "Chris" Brooks, 50, of Gastonia, passed away on February 22, 2021.

He was born September 18, 1970, in Gaston County, son of Peggy Phillips Brooks and the late Roy Lee Brooks.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Rd., Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Scott Rudisill.

The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service at Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road. Gastonia.

In addition to his mother, Christopher is survived by two sons, Dusty Rayfield and Drew Brooks; a sister, Tammy Dotson; his partner, Lynn Raby; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
