Christine Miller Bushnell

Christine Miller Bushnell, 86, of Stanley, passed away November 10, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born February 26, 1928 in Fairchance, PA, daughter of the late Rev. Harry Elijah Miller and Malinda Jane Miller. Christine was a member of Message of Love Church in Belmont and past president of Questers of Antique Restoration. She is survived by children, Cynthia Jane Bushnell of the home and David Emerson Bushnell and wife, Ann of Tega Cay, SC; granddaughter, Christina Bushnell Workman and great-granddaughter, McKenzie Grace Workman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson "Doc" Bushnell, Jr. A memorial service will be held 5 pm on Saturday at the Message of Love Church, 306 Pearl Beatty Rd., Belmont, officiated by Pastors Jeff Johnson and Frankie Sneed. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Message of Love Church - PO Box 406, Belmont, NC 28012. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
