Christina "Christy" Conner Davidson, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and cherished friend, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2026, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, North Carolina.
Born on April 27, 1970, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Christy lived a life marked by unwavering faith, unconditional love, and a servant's heart. She was known for her kindness, strength, creativity, and steadfast devotion to her family, friends, church, and community.
Christy dedicated 30 years of her career to CEM, where she helped create and design industrial microwave systems and components. She took great pride in her work and treasured the friendships she made with her coworkers. She loved her job and adored the people she worked alongside. A faithful member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church, Christy found her strength and peace in her relationship with the Lord. Her faith guided every aspect of her life and carried her through her greatest trials. She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed creating beautiful things for her home and yard. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and generous heart made everyone feel welcome. Perhaps nowhere was Christy's strength more evident than during her courageous battle with cancer. She faced every treatment and every setback with remarkable courage, grace, and determination. Even in the midst of her illness, she continued to encourage others, remained grateful for every blessing, and leaned on her unwavering faith in God. Her strength inspired everyone privileged to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Conner and Helen Cunningham Conner, and her brother, Robbie Conner.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jay Frederick Davidson; her sons, Dylan Jay Davidson, and Trevor Cole Davidson and his wife, Maddie; her brother, Tim Conner and his wife, Alisa; her sister, Angela Conner Saunders and her husband, Tim; her nieces, Somer Saunders Castle and her husband, Paul, Melissa Conner Long and her husband, David, and Maddie Conner; her nephews, Matt Saunders and his wife, Allie, Ryan Conner, and Henry Conner; as well as her treasured great-nieces and great-nephews: Sarah Kate, Carson, Brentley, Zoey, Jason, Taytum, William, and Allison.
Christy's legacy is one of faith, love, courage, and unwavering devotion. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and the example she set will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice knowing Christy has been made whole and is now in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith has become sight, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
