Chris Martin

Chris Martin, 59, of Greensboro, NC, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Atrium Health – Main, in Charlotte, NC.

He was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on March 8, 1965, to the late James and Ida Martin.

In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Martin.

Chris was a wonderful human being.  He was humble, self-less, and big-hearted.  He loved to fish and hunt.  He was known as a professional bass slayer.

Chris is survived by his daughters, Samantha Martin, Emily Lattimore, and Robin Towery; a brother, James Martin; and a granddaughter, Athena O'Brien.

Services will be announced by the family at a later date.
