Chester Forrest Hope

Chester Forrest Hope, 54, of Grover, passed away June 4, 2022, at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby.

He was born June 15, 1967, in Cleveland County, son of the late George Buster Hope Sr. and Glenda Kay Keeton.

Chester was a very laid back and easy-going person.

One of his favorite pastimes was watching wrestling.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Midview Baptist Church, 703 Margrace Road Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Michael Rice.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Chester is survived by his sons, Chester "CJ" Hope Jr. and Richard Hope; brother, George Hope Jr.; sisters, Kay Evans and Terry Hope; cousins, Lucy Rucker and husband David, Norman Hope and wife Shelia, Tony Hope and wife Justy.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
