Chasity S. Holland

Chasity S. Holland, 51, of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones on April 16, 2025, at the Wendover Hospice House in Cleveland County.

She leaves behind a deep and abiding love with her lifelong partner, Tony Randall Walker Sr. Through all of life's ups and downs, they always found their way back to each other. She is also survived by her sons, Tony Randall Walker Jr. (fiancée Sierra Arrowood) and Robert Walker (wife Abbie Walker), and her beloved grandchildren: Waylon, Summit, and Motley from Robert; Kaia, Alayna, and Maverick from Tony Jr. There was nothing Chasity cherished more than her two boys and her role as a grandmother. Raising her sons was her life's purpose and proudest accomplishment. Even through declining health, her love for her grandchildren remained constant—they were her sun, moon, and stars.

Chasity is also survived by her brothers, Bruce Holland Jr. (wife Daneen Holland) and Tyler Ross (wife Cassidy Ross), who will forever hold her memory close in their hearts.

She shared a special bond with extended family members who were a meaningful part of her life: Becky Walker, Larry Walker, Dusty Walker, Mark Ross, Rodney Ross, Dwayne Capps, and Delyah Capps, along with their families. Their love, support, and presence brought her great comfort and joy over the years.

She was preceded in death by her mother and best friend, Patricia Ann Brakefield; her father, Bruce Douglas Holland; and her stepfather, Terry Carson Ross. Without a doubt, they are now reunited dancing in heaven, still guiding and watching over their family here on Earth.

Chasity spent many years working in textiles and hospitality. She was a firecracker with a short fuse and a huge heart. She loved deeply and without judgment, and she welcomed conversations about anything and everything. Her favorite times were those spent surrounded by family—grilling out at the river before taking a long creek bath or sitting by the bonfire listening to her brother play guitar, Sundrop in hand.

She is no longer in pain and is surely waiting with open arms and joyful tears to see her family again.

A visitation to celebrate Chasity's life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home on Archie Whitesides Road.
