Charlotte Cantrell Rhodes

Charlotte Cantrell Rhodes, 63, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.

She was born in Union County on April 2, 1960, to the late Berl and Helen Cantrell.

Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved visiting the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, David Rhodes.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Kimberly Burns, David Cantrell (Meagan), Jennifer Etters (Joseph); grandchildren, Halie Grigg (Tyler), Wesley Etters, Elijah Cruz, Kyia Cruz; step-grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Josh Smith, Alona Frederick; great-grandson, Waylon Grigg.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
