Charlotte Ann Capps

Lowell, NC - Charlotte Ann Capps, 74, passed away April 14, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born November 9, 1939, native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Hugh Price and Eunice Arnold. Charlotte was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Lowell and McAdenville Red Hatters. She retired from Pharr-Yarns after 42 years and worked in childcare at the 1st United Methodist Church in Belmont. A funeral service will be held 3 pm on Thursday at the 1st Baptist Church of Lowell, 400 W 1st St., Lowell, NC, officiated by Pastors, Dr. David Irish and A.A. Bailey. Visitation will be 1 - 3 pm prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park. Charlotte is survived by: her loving husband of over 56 years, Ken Capps of the home; sons, Jeff Capps of Lowell, Mark Capps and spouse, Kalea of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Capps of Belmont and Brandi Capps of Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Center of 1st Baptist Church of Lowell, 400 W. 1st St., Lowell, NC 28098 Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
