Charlie Pagoota Jr.

The family of Charlie Pagoota, Jr. is deeply saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Born on May 14, 1959 in Charlotte, NC, Chuck lived a full and remarkable life. He touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with simply by being himself.

Chuck enjoyed fishing, social media making tic-tok videos. He especially loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Pagoota, Sr., Ann Belk (Pagoota) Auten, stepdad Tony Auten Sr.; brother Curtis Martin ("Marty") Pagoota and a sister Patricia ("Cissy") Auten Polk; granddaughter, Emily Loftin; his beloved wife Alma Ashe Pagoota.

Left to cherish Chuck's memory are his daughters Pam Pagoota Gibson (Ray) and Amanda Pagoota Loftin (Shon); sons, Daniel Heffner and Eugene Heffner; brothers Andy Pagoota (Amy) and Tony Auten Jr. (Rhoda); granddaughters, Brittney Gibson, Myra Loftin, Halie Loftin; great-granddaughter, Autumn Hayes.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC.
