Charlie Moore

Charlie Moore, 46, of Bessemer City, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

He was born November 2, 1969, in Cherokee County, SC, son of the late Charles Junior Moore and Marie Ezzell Moore.

Charlie loved his family and never met a stranger. He attended Destiny Church in Gastonia. He loved fishing and was a die-hard fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Dallas Cowboys.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Charles Moore, Jr. and wife, Kristen; daughter, Nikki Moore and significant other, Ashley Owens; brother, Ray Moore, Jacky Moore; sisters, Darlene Clemmer, Susan Hamm, Teresa Darrell and grandchildren, Bentley Moore and Aleah Moore.

A memorial service will be held 4pm on Saturday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S York Rd. Gastonia, officiating Pastor David Tucker.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment is private.
