Charlie Dwight Burgess

Charlie Dwight Burgess, 71, of Gastonia, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, at his residence.

He was born October 4, 1951, in Gaston County North Carolina to the late Harold Dwight Burgess and Clara Lazenby Painter.

Charlie enjoyed coaching baseball, cars, trucks, sports, and shooting pool.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Terry Clukey.

Charlie is survived by his children, Penny Burgess, Angel Burgess, Carley Burgess, Tyler Burgess (Sarah), Holly Hamby, aunt, Cookie Stiles (Bill), several grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending.
