Charlie Lee Baker

Charlie Lee Baker, 62, of Clover, SC, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024.

He was born November 2, 1961, in Lancaster Co, SC, son of Patricia Johnson Baker and the late Nelson Conway Baker.

Charlie was a member of First Baptist Church, Grover, NC, where he was a ladies Sunday school teacher. He was also a former member of Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia, NC, where he taught Wednesday morning bible study. Charlie loved to bowl when his health allowed him to. He also loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Chris Baker; sister, Karen Baker Padgett (David); and grandchild, Nelson Baker.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Josh Glandon, will be held 11:00am, Monday, March 11, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at 3:00 pm, at Oakridge Baptist Church Cemetery – 603 Oakridge Church Rd., Kershaw, SC 29067.
