Charles Michael Sheldon Peterson

Charles Michael Sheldon Peterson, 24, of Charlotte passed away on October 18, 2013 in Albemarle. He was born April 4, 1989 Kootenai County, Idaho son of Charles Kenneth Peterson and Tabatha Ann Bruce. Charles was a beloved son, friend and loving husband to be. He was a man with a heart big enough to give everyone a piece. No matter the day Charles would be willing to help others, in times of need. He had an uncanny ability to put a smile on anyones face or to cry with you when necessary. There was nothing important enough for this man with a voice of reason to get mad over. Charles was thinking of others without concern for himself. From the beginning to the end of his life he worked hard for everything he had, while being a real friend you could count on. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. In addition to his parents he is survived by: wife, Emily Hobday Peterson; brother, Cpl. Daniel T. Peterson; sister, Kendra Peterson; paternal grandparents, Michael D. and Mary E. Peterson; maternal grandparents, William S. and Brenda F. Wilson; maternal great grandparents, Susan Howell, Shirley Ingram; nephews, Mason and Michael Peterson. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Cremaorium, Gastonia.
