Charles Garrison Sarvis

Charles Garrison Sarvis, 89, of Gastonia passed away May 2, 2014 at Gaston Place. He was born December 6, 1924, native of Gaston County, son of the late, Kelly and Arra Sarvis. He was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. Charles is survived by: son, Gary Sarvis; brother, Ralph Gary Sarvis; sister, Jean Cox; grandchildren, Todd Sarvis, Kimberly Sarvis; great grandchild, Austin Sarvis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Sarvis. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday May 6, at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel - 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Sydnor Thompson. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and crematorium, Gastonia.
