Charles Ellison Parker, Jr.

Charles Ellison Parker, Jr., born March 16, 1949, went to play golf with Jesus on April 28, 2021. He's now looking for his first hole-in-one.

He is the son of the late Dorothy and Charles Parker, Sr.

Gone before him are his parents, Dorothy and Charles Parker, Sr.

He is proudly survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy Parker; daughter, Brittany, who is his popsicle; his sons, Brandon, his movie companion and Matt, his golfing buddy; and grandsons, Shawn and Justin Parker.

Charlie loved to play golf, watch UNC Basketball, and diners, drive-ins and dives. He could not wait to see what his wife and children would get him as a birthday cake every year. He loves the fall and was always in the Christmas spirit. He loves walking on the on the beach at sunrise with his daughter, Brittany. He worked at AB Carter for 49 ½ years.

Family will receive friends, 7-9pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
