Charles Vane Miller

Charles Vance Miller, 76, of Gastonia, passed away February 9, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. He was born January 21, 1939 native of Gaston County, the son of the late Issac and Grace Miller. Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He devoted his life to God, his family and friends. Charles previously attended the Dallas Church of God. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Zudie Revels Miller; son, Ricky Senter and wife, Darlene of York, SC; daughter, Debbie Ivester and husband, Leroy of Gastonia; sister, Margie Matthews of Gastonia; grandchildren, Trinity, Stephanie, Alexandra and Hayley and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Willie, Carl, Alfred and Joseph Miller and sister, Elvie Bowen. A going home service will be held 2 pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Danny Shortridge. The family will receive friends 1 - 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dallas Church of God, 311 South College Street, Dallas, NC 28034. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
