Charles Richard Lambeth

Charles Richard Lambeth, 91, of Lowell, NC, passed away, Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his residence.

He was born January 18, 1929 in Gilford Co, NC, son of the late William B. Lambeth and Montie Freeman Lambeth.

Charles was a US Army Veteran and a volunteer firefighter with the Lowell Fire Department for over 35 years. He enjoyed playing sports and coaching.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hilda McTaggert Lambeth; son, Ronald Lambeth; and daughter, Teresa Lambeth.

Charles is survived by his several brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Scott Pruitt, Richie Lambeth, Cathy Lambeth and Shane Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Ryan Pruitt, Kellie Pruitt, Joseph Capes, Tiffany Lambeth, Samantha Lambeth, Zachary and Peyton Pruitt; and great-great-grandchildren, Sophia, Marley, Delilah, Athena, Ruby, Kyson, Ryker and Blaine.

A private graveside service will be held at Gaston Memorial Park at a later date.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
