Charles "Charlie" Griffie

Charles "Charlie" Griffie, 83, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Highland Heights Health and Rehabilitation, Gastonia.

He was born February 29, 1940, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Marshall and Jessie Griffie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Griffie; sister, Rebecca Morris; brother, Ronnie Griffie; and son, Todd Griffie.

Charlie is survived by his son, Scott Griffie (Susan); daughter, Tracy Allman; sister, Kandi Lowery (Paul); grandchildren, Dale Warlick, and Christopher Griffie; and great-grandchild, Ethan Warlick.

A service to celebrate Charlie's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Road, Gastonia, NC 28054. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
