Charles "Charlie" Franklin Faile

Charles "Charlie" Franklin Faile, 70, of Gastonia, passed away June 30, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1945 in Lancaster, SC, the son of the late Paul and Lucy Faile. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Faile; sons, Paul Faile and wife, Jessica of Orlando, Glenn Faile and wife, Melissa of Gastonia; brother, Russell Faile and wife, Gail of Gastonia; sister, Paulette Black of Dallas; grandchildren, Brittany, Makaylah, Case and John Ryker Faile, who is on his way; and five children of a previous marriage. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchild, Brayden Faile and sisters, Elizabeth Johnson and Shirley Clark. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Revs. Chris Doster and Steven Black. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Olney Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice - PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
