Charles "Chuck" Edward White

Charles "Chuck" Edward White, 81, of Gastonia, passed away on July 13, 2016, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 4, 1935, in Gaston County, son of the late Dee White and Lonia Gertrude Phillips.

Mr. White was a US Army Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Roger Overton Jr.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.

Mr. White is survived by his loving wife of over 61 years, Maxine Beal White; daughter, Kim White; brother, J.C. White; sisters, Betty White Parsons and husband, Gary, Lillie White Smith; brother-in-law, Scott Beal.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Dee White Jr.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
