Charles Steven Doster

Charles Steven Doster, 62, of Dallas, passed away March 2, 2017 at his residence.

He was born January 26, 1955, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Martha Janell Doster.

Charles was a veteran of the United States Army and also worked at Freightliner for many years.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 43 years, Debra; sons Pastor Chris Doster and wife Kelly and Jason Doster and wife Shannon; brothers Jimmy and Rick Doster; sister-in-law Beverly Brezeale and husband Ervin; brother-in-law Ray Human and wife Jade; grandchildren Gage, Clara "Gracie", Clay and Katy Doster and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Pinkney Doster.

A celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Chris Doster, will be held 5:30 pm Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Maranatha Baptist Church, 104 Downey Lake Road, Dallas.

The family will receive friends 4 – 5:15 pm prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
