Charles Dennis Dodgen, 67, of Kings Mountain passed away on August 12, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born May 5, 1946 in Gaston County, son of Mildred Bradley Cable and the late Charles Lecoy Dodgen. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Dennis Harmon. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. A guest registry is available at greenefuneral.com.
