Charles "Charlie" Dobbins, 81, of Gastonia, NC, passed away, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at his residence.
He was born June 14, 1939 in Rutherford Co, NC, son of the late John Dobbins and Gazzie McKinney Dobbins.
Charlie was a member East Baptist, Gastonia. He loved his machine shop, golfing and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Betty "BJ" Dobbins; sons, Eric Dobbins and wife, Lilabeth and Charles Ray Dobbins and wife, Renee; brother, Johnny Dobbins and wife Patti; sisters, Joyce Hux and Sarah Lark; grandchildren, Ashley Dobbins Drake and husband Stacey, and Taylor Dobbins; and great-grandchildren, Stratton Drake and Charlee Drake.
Family will receive friends 3:30-5pm on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
