Charles Lynn Carringer"Charlie" 78, of Dallas passed away on March 31, 2013 at his home. He was born December 12, 1934 son of the late Elberry Carringer and Callie Odom Carringer. Mr. Carringer was a native of Cherokee County, NC. He retired form Firestone after 38 years of service and was a member of U.R.W. 1133. A funeral service will be held 3:30 pm on Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Fain Farmer. The family will receive friends 2:00- 3:30 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. Mr. Carringer is survived by: his wife of over 20 years, Louise Queen Carringer; sons, Ricky, Gregg and Jerry Carringer; stepsons, Ray and Matt Lambert; daughters, Connie Rice, Donna Boyd; stepdaughter, Shannon Payne; brother, Wayne Carringer; grandchildren, Charlie, Ashley, Dillion, Alexis, Cameron, Houston, Sissy, Julie, Michael, Zackary, Tyler, Jacob, Brittney, Joshua, Diane; 3 great grandchildern. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: son, 8, sisters, 6 , brothers. Memorials may be sent to Annie Armstrong Easter Offering c/o Mt.
