Charles "Chuck" Belk

Charles "Chuck" Belk, 85, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas.

He was born January 4, 1937, in Union Co, NC, son of the late J.V. Belk and Frankie Helms Belk.

Chuck was the owner for over 20 years of Chuck's Electric Service, Gastonia, NC. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister; and 2 brothers.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances Belk; sons, Nelson and wife, Pam Belk, David and wife, Lori Belk, and Kevin and wife, Lisa Belk; daughter, Kay Suh and husband, Paul; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11am on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Lowell - 400 W. 1st St., Lowell, NC 28098 .

Burial will be private at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gastonia.
