Cecil James Fields

Gastonia, NC Cecil James Everette Fields, 46, passed away September 11, 2012, at The Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas. He was born September 10, 1966 in Gaston County, son of Horace Pete and Sarah "Frances" Hendricks McDaniel. Mr. Fields was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church, Gastonia. He was a jack of all trades and master technician at Sears. He was a graduate of Hunter Huss High School class of 1984. A funeral service will be held 2 pm on Friday at Chapel Grove Baptist Church, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Roger Overton. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm on Thursday at the church. Interment will be at Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly. He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Jill" Summitt Fields; sons, Cecil Aaron James Fields, Daniel Lindsey Fields, Jordan Lewis Fields; brother, David Fields and wife, Lisa; sisters, Jackie Conder and husband, Mark, Missy Hale. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Denny Fields. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, for The Robin Johnson House, P. O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
