Cayden Lewis Perkins, age 7 months, of Bessemer City, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
He was born October 21, 2015, in Gastonia.
Cayden was happy and full of life and will be missed greatly by his loving parents and family.
Cayden is survived by his parents, Robert Lewis Perkins Jr. and Bethany Smarr Perkins of Bessemer City; grandparents, Jim and Anita Smarr of Bessemer City, Brenda Perkins of Kannapolis; great- grandparents, Gene and June Standley of Greenville, SC; aunt and uncles, Hayley Smarr, Donna and Jimmy Haskins, Tammy Cash, Crystal and Jeff Mullis, Keith and Lynn Perkins, Dwight and Anna Perkins, Greg and Laura Whisnant; numerous cousins.
Cayden was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Perkins Sr.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Tryonota Station #70 for their love and support.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
