Catherine Sue Sexton

Catherine Sue Sexton, 66, of Cherryville, passed away June 28, 2023, at her residence.

She waws born August 9, 1956, in Maryland, to the late Gurney and Bessie Rogers Poe.

Catherine was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sexton; son, Gary Sexton; and six brothers and sisters.

Catherine is survived by children and their spouses, Charles, Terry and Mary Ann, Matthew and Krissa, and Robert and Jessica; sister, Micki Hyter; and grandchildren, Michael Robert, Dylan, Alex, Tristan, Robbie Jr., Zoey, Ella, Layla, and Jesse.

A service to celebrate the life of Catherine will be held at the home at a later date.
