Catherine Mccreery

Catherine "Cappy" McCreery, 97, of Gastonia passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at The Robin Johnson House.

She was born September 4, 1919 in Oxford Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Fred and Catherine Carpenter.

Cappy enjoyed painting, traveling and bowling.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Ron Cole and wife Vickie; grandchildren, Stephanie Cole Foster and husband Zach and Chris Cole; great grandchildren, Carys and Emerson Foster.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Komar and Evelyn White.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Friday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Road. Gastonia, NC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.
