Catherine Ledford

Gastonia, NC Catherine Ledford, age 78, passed away October 7, 2012 at her home at the Alexandria Place. She was born October 18, 1933 in Gaffney, SC, daughter of the late J.T. Epperson and Ella Mae Grooms Bryson. Mrs. Ledford was a member of Bright Light Baptist Church, Bessemer City. A funeral service will be held 1pm on Wednesday at Bright Light Baptist Church, Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Wayne Reese and Pastor Jeff McCarthy. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia. She is survived by: her sons, Tom Brooks and his wife, Renea, Jerry Brooks and his wife, Jennifer; daughter Linda Darlene Ledford; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, David Calvin Ledfrord; son, Richard Carroll; granddaughter, Jennifer.
